Alexandre Tielens was a painter of landscapes, views of picturesque towns, flowers and still-lifes. Training at the Brussels Academy, his work embodies firm and realistic styles with an impressionistic touch. Tielens also spent time as a mural painter, and is the artist behind the triptych for the “French School” in Brussels.
