Eugène Corbin is the son of Antoine Corbin (1835-1901), founder of Gathered Stores in Nancy .
He made many artists work in the construction of its new store: Lucien Weissenburger , Louis Majorelle , Victor Prouvé , Daum , Jacques Gruber , Henri Bussiere , Louis Guingot , Alfred Finot , Suhner Henri, Henri Blahay and Jules Cayette .
He founded the magazine Art and Industry .
The Museum of the Nancy School is located in the old property, which was sold to the city in 1955
