Alan Barnes is a sixth generation English art dealer and is committed to making the act of buying fine art private, exciting, rewarding and fun!
The Barnes family has a long history within the international art markets, dating back to the early 18th century. The family has conducted business on both sides of the Atlantic for more than 60 years and has been privileged to represent a number of quality clients and collections, including Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II, Sir. Winston Churchill, President William Jefferson Clinton, Sir. Douglas Barder, Sir. Paul McCartney, The National Gallery, London, The Fine Art Society, London, Bonhams International and many others.
For the past 13 years Alan, his wife Belinda and their little daughter Samantha have made Dallas, Texas home. Alan's main business is directed at helping and assisting Professional Designers, Private Collectors and small national and local institutions purchase quality paintings. With a vast international inventory of over 1000 paintings and representing some very fine Contemporary and Modern artists, we feel sure we can help guide you in the right direction.
